Last time he was Mr.Funny guy, well now he's following Snoop and singing. My nigga hov singing the light-rock. Oasis - Wonderwall performed by none other. Song of the week, Marco Polo. This song is madd addictive. "Never been fake cause the girls love official, S.O.D. cuz bitches love intials" "This is not the matrix, but I am the oracle, do you want to fuck me, the question is rethorical".

Jigga that funny N199@
Jay-Z getting interviewed by some white guy on some European show. I'm not one to over-indulge in television so for all I know this gets broadcasted in the U.S. though I highly doubt it. These people curse on tv and the U.S. aint that cool. Notice the HardKnock Life intro music for Hov, pretty hilarious. By the way, I love Hov, but those glasses . . . Fail!

Soulja Boy v. Ice-T
My son Soulja Boy (still 17) gettin back at Ice-T (A Milli Yon Years Old) for his video bashing of Soulja Boy. This video was funny enough to make me put up a new away message. OMFG this was hilarious. Yo, I'm about to graduate, great.

wow. its been a while.
Yea I've been slacking recently. But I was busy with prom and a whole bunch of other stuff. Prom was fun, after-party was crazyyyy. If you don't know then don't worry lol. Graduation is on wednesday and school ends on thurs. We are entereing a phase in my life that i currently feel like referring to as the Maturation of Leelee.
On saturday I went to the South Street Seaport for the first time with a friend. Even though I've lived in NYC my whole life there is a lot of stuff I haven't seen apparently. It's a pretty cool place with lots to do. Check it out sometime.
BTW. Song of the week . . .
Jay-Z - A Billi (OK it's really a Lil Wayne - A Milli Remix but I like Jay-Z better)

Friday the 13th
So . . . Boston now has a 3-1 lead on the Lakers . . . thanks to my prayer btw.
This has been an interesting week filled with senioritis. Met the parents today lmao. Well I love my Nike SB Mid November Rain dunks, and recently I made a purchase to compliment them. I am now a proud owner of the Nike SB Shattered Rose t-shirt. I wish I had a job or something to support my spending habits =[
Random songs of the week (Bonus for my slight absences i guess)
N.E.R.D. - Love Bomb
andddd
N.E.R.D. - Anti-Matter
Seeing Sounds is pretty tough . . . review is coming soon.

Anti-Lakers 08
So i hate the patriots, and i loathe Kobe and whoever he is associated with, which happens to be the Los Angeles lakers. I've always liked Ray Allen since that Spike Lee joint, and Paul Pierce is the man, KG is the Randy Moss of basketball, regardless if I hated him he'd still win and be nice awesome. Well the Celtics faced off against the Lakers in the NBA finals (again) on thursday . . . and the Celtics molested and violated!!!!!!. Any hopes of a Lakers Victory died when KG raped the spirits of Lakers fans worldwide with this dunk.
Game 2 is tonight, lets go ANTI-LAKERS 08!!!!!

C3
Fuck with me wrong, I'll Fuck with ya home
like a letter to your wife saying "your husband is gone"
like muslim I'm calm but like muslim I bomb
and beat the track up like a hundred arms
I'm funky like underarms, the engineer's recording a thunder storm
my hunger forms, ring the alarm
tha Carter II was nice
but the 3rd times a charmm
I Just had to quote Lil Wayne for a little intro, you can catch that 16 at the end of the aforementioned (or pasted) song.
The Carter III is one of the albums that I have managed to get my hands on, and must I say that I am impressed.
Track Listing and commentary
01. 3 Peat
The beat is pretty cool, this sounds like Vintage Weezy. "bitch swallow my words, taste my thoughts, and if it's too nasty, spit it back at me". A whole bunch of metaphors behind a hoarse yelling-ish voice. But in the hook notice his subtle use of the concept of 3. A Cool intro. 4 stars
02. Mr. Carter [ft. Jay-Z]
I LOVE this trackkkkk, I definately had it on repeat for like 12 hours on sunday. I posted it late last week so you can get more detailed commentary on it. "blind eyes could look at me and see the truth" . . . "man i got summer hatin on me cuz im hotter than the sun, I got spring haton on me cuz i aint neva sprung, winter hatin on me cuz im colder than yall, and i will neva i will neva i will neva fall, im bein hated by the seasons, so fuck yall who hatin for no reason" -This nigga Weezy. 5 stars, no question.
03. A Milli
I like the version with Corey Gunz better. He said "drop a rock wit dem Obamas", it sounded pretty cool. Weezy still held it down. Some good lyricism in here, what you would expect from Weezy at this point. The beat is official though. 4 stars.
04. Got Money [ft. T-Pain]
This song is hot, it's hype and crazy. T-Pain held the hook down, everyone form that record label holds down the hooks yo. Wayne does not even say like a crazy punchline or complicated rhyme or anything. But everything that he says just sounds hot. Like That Umbrella reference and the last line he says is officialll. 5 stars.
05. Comfortable [ft. Babyface]
I originally heard this song from The Drought Is Over, Pt. 4 and I liked it back then. A nice chill R&B concept with a nice rhyme scheme which is strong enough to support it. It get's a 4.
06. Phone Home
WEAKKKKK. smh Weezy. A little bit of the Crank Dat Soulja Boy verse plus some E.T. = failure. 3 stars, maybe itll grow on me.
07. Dr. Carter
This was originally a freestyle on The Drought Is Over, Pt. 4. Well Weezy put a Swizzy beat behind it and changed the flow up a little. Found some next chick and made her pretend to be a nurse, started diagnosin the rap game and he got himself a nice track. 5 Stars.
08. Tie My Hands [ft. Robin Thicke]
Yo this album taught me to appreciate Robin Thicke. I mean i still don't support white guys with black girls but I respect good music. This beat is madd chill, like somebody died or something. It's so solemn, you know, something you could sit back and light an L to. 5 stars. Touche Mr.Thicke, Touche.
09. Shoot Me Down
Produced by Kanye, not the typical soul beat. This song is still cool though. Lil Wayne sounds quite swaggerful on this. Could be better. The hook is great though. The hook brings this song to a safe 4 stars.
10. Playin' With Fire
I like the beat, madd old skool piano, reminds me of Dreamgirls or some Aretha Franklin shyt. "But the bitch say I'm hot, I say no bitch im blazin, what do u expect, ima mothafuckin Cajun". He stay slippin in the N.O. references, i respect one who respects where he came from. This track is madd hotttt. Pun intended. 5 Stars.
11. Lollipop [ft. Static Major]
All right real talk, I'm not really feeling this song. I love the Ryan Leslie cover and the remix, and that is what made this grow on me. But the original song, the one on the album. Ehh, 3 Stars out of 5.
12. La La [ft. Brisco & Busta Rhymes]
This beat is cool. David Banner you a genius for this one. It's mad catchy, makes the song better, while Weezy is just rhymin and rhymin and doin a good job at that. 5Stars before I forget. "4 tears in my face and u aint neva herd me cry, I'm richer den alla yall I got a bank full of pride".
13. Nothin' On Me [ft. Juelz Santana & Fabolous]
All my friends love Fab on this track. His Waynes Bros. references are crazyyy. A couple of people I know are disappointed in Wayne because he let Fab rip hip on his own track. And nobody really expected much lyricism from Juelz . . . I mean come on . . . he sounds nice but has no subtance. 4 stars.
14. Let the Beat Build
This beat sounds maddd Kanye . . . because Kanye made it. I love everything about this track. Weezy slowed it down a bit, he did say some dumb stuff but overall he did a good job with the rhyming. "if i hop out, it be suicide, no back seats, call it paralyzed". I like the ending though, he lets the track build up and just finishes it, "now thats how you let the beat build bitchhhh". 5 Stars.
15. Mrs. Officer [ft. Bobby Valentino]
I love this track. 5 stars. Bobby V ripped it with his hook and that falsetto sound he makes. Weezy also got a couple of punchlines in there. Interesting concept, a lady cop, just twist everything a man cop would say, and put a little sexy spin on it. "All she want me to do is fuck the police". Cool Beanz.
16. Misunderstood
This track is mostly Weezy spittin wisdom. He actually sounds kind of wise, I gave this 5 stars because i like to listen to knowledge behind a cool relaxed beat.
Something You Forgot should have been on this!!!!!
Overall this album gets a 4.4 out of 5. Not bad at all.
